Benelli R1 scope base and mount need help

Hello just wanted to say i am not a gun not so i need help. Leupold sako 30mm S. high ring mount doesnt fit on benelli R1 base. What should i do buy a new ring mount or new base mount. if so please give me some recommendation for base and ring mount. as for the scope it a VX-5hd 3-15x56 cds-zl2.
