M2 Field Smoothbore - slug gun

There are no M2 slug guns available anywhere! I want to buy an M2 field and get a rifled barrel for accurate sabot slug shooting. Couple of questions:

1) I found rifled barrels available but am wondering if I need a new forend as well? These are less available, so I might have to get creative.

2) Sights - I'd like a scope or a red dot at minimum when using the rifled barrel. The receiver wouldn't be drilled and tapped on a standard M2 field. Having third party work done to drill and tap might void warranty? Are there ways to avoid voiding warranty on this? Any other sight mounting options.
