jsr1014 Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 I actually went to buy shells today and someone was in the middle of purchasing a desert camo m4, had no idea they were rare. What makes them rare? Quote
StreetSweeper56 Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 I see them turn up occasionally on Gunbroker but they aren't common. You could, of course, pay a Cerekoter to duplicate the 3-color pattern. I toyed with the idea of having one done in my favorite camo pattern, "chocolate chip" but in the end I went with solid "bazooka green", a sort of faded OD green shade. My thought was I could always paint any camo pattern I wanted to match terrain I was in. Acrylic paint will last surprisingly long and is very easy to remove. Sure, it will chip and wear over time but that just adds to the battle-worn look IMO. 1 Quote
