Tactical Flashlight Mount Question

Hi Folks:

 

I picked up a Super Nova Tatical last night and am new to the forum. I want to mount a Mako flashlight holder/vertical grip unit (link below) on the forearm and know that I'll need to put on a Picatinny rail to attach it.

Has anyone done this before? If so, what kind of rail would you recommend, etc. Any and all advice is appreciated.
