Putting together a do-it-all 12G kit with M2 26" for bird hunting, plus the 24" slug barrel and forend for deer and hogs and such. I also have a 18.5" barrel with open rifle sites and a 2-shot mag extension tube. My question is if anyone can tell me whether there is a manufacturer of a telescoping or folding stock for the M1/M2 for when I have this thing in the 5+1, 18.5" urban configuration. HDRDKG Posted April 20, 2007 Share Posted April 20, 2007 I have had an M1 entry gun since 1993 and never seen a collapsing stock for it. And I have looked. It would also have to be collapsing, since the spring is in the tube has to be there and it would not work with a folding stock. Just get an M4.
