M2 Tactical barrel interchangeabilty?

Hi everyone,

 

I have been considering purchasing an M2 for a while. I actually started considering it when the M1 was still available. I am mostly a recreational/sport shooter. I am wanting a gun that will fill a multitude of roles. I am really wanting an M2 Tactical, but before I drop the $1100 I want to be sure I won't be regretting it later.

 

I was wondering if the M2 field barrels will fit onto the M2 tactical? Is this even feasible, or would I be better served spending the money on a supernova for field use and trap use?

all the barrels for the M2 are interchangeable...no problem at all to put a field barrel on there..but if you get a ghost ring gun then the rear ghost ring sight set will interfear with the front bead sight....would have to be taken off..not a big deal but a reality...
