yes, in TX the limit is 3 for migratory game. the plug is already in the gun, you can remove it and let loose.

I'm not sure about what parts are interchangeable, however I am curious about the recoil pad you wish to add. Where are you getting it and how much? I just added Benelli's Mercury Recoil Reducer to the exact same model of M1 that you have and it made an incredible difference. Let me know how yours works out. Good luck

Does anybody know how to eject the shells from a M1 Field 2002 model from the underside? I've read the instructions in the manual however it doesn't seem to work for me. I think theres got to be an easier way than ejecting the shells via the chamber. All ideas are welcomed. P.S. - It's great to see this new forum from Benelli. Now all we need are desktop themes for PC's.
