  1. Got to see Tom Knapp up in Warroad on Aug. 3rd. Pretty impressive. This was my 4th time seeing him person. Super nice guy, always takes time after his shows to talk with you and even seen him filling up his pickup as he was passing thru town so I pulled in and said HI. He even remembered who i was. My 2 oldest boys got to throw eggs for part of his show. He is a must see event and its amazing what that dude can do with a shotgun. I thought he said he shoots about 250 round in his shows which are about 1 hour long. Even had him autogragh my Montefletro. Go see him shoot and you will be glad you went.
  2. I got 2 Benelli shotguns. Montefeltro and a Super Black Eagle. I got the easyhit sights on both of them. I love them and they are by far the best fiber optic sight you can put on your shotgun. I even gave bought a couple and gave them away as christmas gifts. The way I look at it if you can afford a shotgun that runs from $ 800 to $ 1000 plus whats a $ 20 - $ 30 for a sight. Just my 2 cents. Shoot safe! Brian
  3. Hey there! I myself own a Montefeltro in a 12 gauge and found out that there is no magazine extension for this gun but I did take out the plug and I can get 6 shots out of it. Also got a SBE and got me a 4 shot extension for that. Looks cool and does add a bit of weight with regular duck loads. I know they make a extension for a the nova and the M1 super 90. Have fun down in S.A. Looks like a lot of fun to go down there and blast away a few thousand rounds. I think that would be the real test of a shotgun. Shoot safe Brian
  4. A few years ago ( more like 10 years ago ) before I knew about Benelli shotguns. My dad gave me a choice between a Browning BAR 7mm Rem Mag and Benelli m1. Little did i know i took the rifle. He bought 2 benelli M1 at the time and then turned around and sold them for what he paid for. One phone call and a guy drove 3 hours to pick the guns up. Brand new in the box! Believe it or not but my dad paid 350$ per gun. And thats what he sold them for. i told him later that he could've made some money if he sold them for more than what he paid. He did get his money back though. He still likes to use his 870 but he does have a Beretta now. It kills just as good as any gun ( his 870 ) does is what he tells me. Shoot safe! Brian
  5. i seen a ad in a sporting goods store in southern Indiana for custom paint on guns and it was like 165 $ per gun and they let you choose the camo pattern. I never wrote the number down and sure wish i did. But the way i look at it, lets say you pay 1000 $ for a new SBE in black synthetic and for like 150 $ more you can get the camo gun. This is what i saw in the store where i got my SBE. Black is fine for me. But to each his own. Good luck Brian
  6. I would try to contact Tom Knapp through his website. I do remember reading somewhere that its a spendy setup. He might give you some info on it. Good luck! Brian
  7. instead of changing my bead on my Montefeltro I just installed a Easy-hit fiber optic. Its the same sight that exhibition shooter Tom Knapp shoots. It glues on or sticks on and comes in different size diameters. The sight itself is housed in a aluminum like casing with slots in it to let light in. I too was concerned of well it will hold up in the woods as far as it getting ripped off but I had mine on over 2 years now and it still looks like the day I bought it. I choose the finer fiber-optic and I really like it and it was like around 20 bucks and easy to install. Check out tomknapp.net and there's a online store where you can purchase one. Just my two cents. Brian
