  1. My friend has a Super 90 that is a few years old and the bolt is very slow. We removed the stock after duck season and sprayed some cleaner and oil in the spring, but this only seems to help a little. The housing that holds the spring is installed extremely tight and we could not completely disassemble it for cleaning. Does anyone have any other ideas that we might be able to try. The bolt also has a spot where it seems to stick of hang-up if you slide the bolt forward while holding the bolt handle. All of these might be related but the bolt will also not rotate to the fully closed position on the first shell, might just be to slow. Any ideas would be a great help. Thanks,
  2. Drake Here is a link that has natural gear camo finishes. http://www.kdgunsmithing.com/naturalgear.htm I also called Tim Newbold, he said that he no longer did the camo finishes. He sid it took to much time away from his other gunsmithing work. [ 01-13-2004, 11:23 AM: Message edited by: lawaterfowler ]
  3. Posted: Tue Jan 13, 2004 9:40 am Post subject: Conservation and Attraction -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I live in SE Alabama. About the only ducks we ever see here are Woodies, except for the few late, late season north birds. This year has been terrible for duck hunting. It seems that about the third time we shoot our ponds there are no more birds to be seen. It just seems like there are no new birds flying in here. Anyone have any suggestions to keep the birds coming in all season and what we can do in the off season to attract more birds to our hunting spots. Most of our hunting is done over rivers, beaver ponds, and fishing ponds. Everyone I talked to this year says that there are no ducks here like there have been in years past. Anyone know of a really good hunt in north or south dakota. Some frinends and I are planning a hunt there next year.
