I am also curious to know what is going on. I lost my recoil pad out of the blue today while hunting pheasants. Went to bring up the gun and it felt weird look and the pad is missing. Very very unfortunate problem on a $1200 gun.

I actually had the luxury of owning both of these guns, I loved my M1 and shot great with it, but the M2 is an even better gun. Without a doubt I would take the M2 over the M1 for the few extra dollars, all the new advancements make this baby shoot and feel like a dream.

Just purchased a new MII and I have to say after one day of shooting I am loving it. Put 100 rounds through it, and not once did it jam. Not only that, I was able to shoot a great 75 out of 80 at the clay range. For anyone thinking about getting this gun I would have to say go for it, cause you won't be sorry.
