  1. Spart- Unless you're sure you're going to cry not having the ability to shoot 3.5's, skip the SBEII and go with the M2. It's a breeze to clean and to me, just the best "bang" for the buck. But then this is not a pump. If you can afford it, go with the 2 gun idea like Tucker said... I'm saving up to add a tactical to sit next to my M2. The Nova pumps aren't that expensive. Good luck.
  2. itir_du12 - I bought an M2 last Sept. only had it out a few times so far. Trap and a pheasant trip to ND. Shoots like a dream and I love it. Can't compare to other Benelli's as this is the only one I've shot. But much better than the Beretta I've used before. No problems at all with the comfortech. It feels to me like the comfortech brings this recoil based gun in line with a gas one. Can go to long with it being dirty... 1000 rounds and only 1 mis-feed so far. It was real dirty when it mis-fed. It was after 3 days of tromping through the scrub in ND. Once again, I love it... hhhmmm I think it's time to add a tactical shotgun to the collection. Dang now I have to make another decision Nova or M4!!! Good luck
  3. Steveski, Did you try Turners?? 2 weeks ago I was in the one in Orange, CA and they had SBE II's and said they were expecting to get more M2's in. But Fowlers had a black M2 26" so I bought it... not sure if they did it on purpose or not but Fowlers had my M2 taged at 1250.00... I pointed out how much over MSRP this was and they "checked the price book" and all of a sudden the price was 1050.00. Seeing as how hard they are to find and I wanted it for October pheasant hunting, I wasn't going to try to get the price any lower than 15.00 under MSRP. Picked it up on the 12th... haven't put any rounds through it yet... but I love looking at it. Hope you find the one you want! Hey Andy... do you know if OnTarget will let you shoot 12g. at their range? Just want to pattern my M2 and put a few boxes through it. I know they won't let you shoot high powered rifles there. Thanks. Dave
  4. Tuck, I'll respond to you... Can't answer your question though...I just bought my first Benelli M2 a few days ago and as I'm in Calif. I still have 5 of my 10 days to go till I can pick it up. So, I'm sure I'll be posting some questions here too myself. But I did find your post on changing the R1's safety for those that are right hand challenged. It's not deleted... did it get moved from where you first posted it?
