  1. Well I sent the gun into the Service Department at Benelli and now I sit and wait patiently........ [ 10-01-2004, 04:13 PM: Message edited by: skoal ]
  2. threeshot thanks for the reply! I appreciate the quick response to my dilemma. I did exactly what you had explained and I've done that about a hundred times before and still no such luck getting shells into the magazine. Just like you stated 'I was able to get about three quarters of the shell into the magazine when the shell carrier prevented me from going any further into the magazine', thats all that ever happens. I will give Benelli a call on Monday and ask that they repair the gun or I may just take it back to where I purchased it and see if they can get Benelli to act on this. 3. I just recently purchased a SBE II and it is my first Benelli. I've been absolutely impressed with everything about the gun and the looks, and feel. But I have one major concern and I've contacted Benelli about this already but I'm not convinced this is truly the case so I'm going to ask you guys if you can help me out. Is it true that when there is a shell in the chamber of the gun and the bolt is closed, you are unable to load the magazine of the gun with more shells? I've had other guns, and talked to others about this and they all believe there maybe something wrong with my gun. Although when I called Benelli they said that this was customary with the Black Eagles! I have a hard time believing this as that is a very bad feature if this is the case. I've not heard anybody talk about this about the Black Eagles. I have even gone as far as taking it apart several times trying to figure out if there is something sticking, jamming or misaligned and I have not found anything. Please respond to this post and possible clarify this for me or help me out as I think this is a very bad feature as when I'm out duck, goose or pheasant hunting there is many times when I will need to add a single or two shells to the magazine and I don't want to open the bolt and eject the shell in the chamber to just add my additional shells. Any advice or clarification will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
