I have the M1 tactical, rifle sights, with the 2 sling mounts on the side. The trouble with my current 3-point sling is that the gun's weight wants it to lay on its side, (the sling mounts pointing up at me) when held in a patrol or muzzle-down carry position. I would like it to naturally sit vertically so I don't have to twist the gun to properly point it. What slings allow this? Giles? Specter/CQB? Would I have to attach the sling at the top of the buttstock instead of the given side mounts?
