I have used my nova 3 times, and today I noticed the carrier not closing on mine. I did not notice it before. The day before yesterday I fell down in about 4 feet of water. My waders floated, and I could not get my feet back under me. I had to use the Nova as a walking stick and poke it into the mud in order to raise me up so I could get my footing (first time I've done that in 30 years). I returned to the boat, cleaned the barrel out with a stick and water. It continued to fire without problems. (I got 4 ringnecks). I came home and broke it down and cleaned it. Today I notice the carrier not closing. I thought it might be due to the dunking. So, is it suppose to close or not?? Thanks, TheHawg
