  1. I think that you will come to love your new gun. I put 10 boxes of Rem STS through mine the first day out and it seemed like it never looked back. The only ejection trouble I have had is with light loads 1 0z 2 3/4 dram or their like. But the gun shoots so soft that you can run hotter loads without the fatigue setting in. I have over 15000 rounds through mine and it is still my favorite autoloader. I have built an adapter plug cast from silicone to accept any style buttpad so I have been able to increase my LOP to 15.75" whch works nicely for me. I do not shoot much in heavy clothing so it was short with the stock pads. Plus it seemed like it was hard to get all of those soft parts for a while. A friend uses a lot of silicone for RTM moulding of carbon fiber parts and he made a tool out of the original pad and left the face flat so we could screw onto it. Good luck with your gun. Brett
  2. HI Guys; I have been shooting the SS with the Comfortech stock since early March. I shoot mostly trap and five stand. I was looking for a versatile gun to learn how to shoot with that would work for more games than the Browning Citori Plus Trap gun that a friend had loaned me. I shot a lot of other guns and was down to building up an 1100 with a Jack West stock and a Hastings barrel, and the SS. I have run over 5000 rounds through this gun so far. The gun will still not cycle really light loads, which does not matter to me because I shoot 3 dram 11/8 oz #8 shells most of the time. I have no complaints I love the gun. I have installed the raised pad on the stock, and I liked the effect. I am working on building an insert that will allow an adjustable comb without any modificaton to the stock. GRACO hardware embedded in a base cast off the original comb pad. I like my light gun for trap, I don't get tired holding it in between shots.
