after researching here on shotgun slugs for my SBE sluggun, i was successfull this year in bagging a respectable 6pt buck at a range of 110 yards, slug is the HORNADY SST...one shot one kill on the run, truely remarkable what these things can do!!! first and only shot in the field so far on brand new barrel! THANKS!

ive been out to the range recently shooting aorund with the winchester BRI 2/3" slugs, winchester platinum tips, and remington core lokt ultra bonded slugs...getting best groups from the plat tips but am still wondering what you all do for best accuracy, sighting in for 150 yards? 200? ive found filling stock with lead and sponge helps reduce recoil of some hot loads like the winchester supremes...any tips or success storys are welcomed...thanks

I did hear they were interchangable was just wondering if the newer slug gun barrels were different...as in materials used or that cryo treatment....dont know much about this...

are they the same twist? material??? i just got a barrel for my sbe that i got a few years back, barrel was used one season with a forestock and scope already on it. i am not sure if it is a sbe2 barrel or not, i am guessing not.... anyone know if their different />???

i have been searching and searching to come up empty. MY SBE is in need of shooting a deer this season but i have no barrel or modified stock-end!!! please anyone out their, point me in teh right direction or something, im desperate!!!
