My new Benelli M1 20 gauge came with shims. It is called a drop change kit, which allows for two additional drops.

I wanted to know if anyone has cut down an M1 field barrel to use as a cylinder bore defense barrel. If so, did you encounter any problems? Benelli doesn't make a barrel shorter than 24" for the M1 20 ga, only 24" field and fully rifled barrels. I want to use the M1 20 ga as a defense gun. Any opinions?

Want to buy a Benelli M1 20 gauge barrel. Looking for a vent rib barrel. Length does not matter. Will also consider a slug barrel. Let me know what you have. Thanks.
