Thank you guys, lots of good info. I am going to pick up my m3 sometime this week. It is essentially a semi-auto with a pump option. Like the guy says; "It's better to have the option and not use it, than to have the urge to use it and not have."

I am kind of new to the Benelli line of shotguns (well, shotguns in general). I have a Benelli M3 CONVERTIBLE PUMP/AUTO (Standard with Ghost-ring sights) on order, and was thinking why the price for the regular Open rifle sights is higher. The main use is going to be home defense and some skeet shooting with an extra barrerl. Is it the capability for upgrade to a skeet gun? Any ideas?
