  1. See my post for the same problem Oct 11. Shells could be a problem, but should a gun be that picky with certain brands. Mine jams happened with Win. I do think there's something to having the gun shouldered securly when firing, and breaking in according to manufacture. I've never shot autoloader shotguns before, and having shot doubles for over 40 years with never a problem, my expectations were pretty high. My buddy had his new Browning gold gas system jam shooting ducks last week. I really like the SBEII and not quite ready to give up on it yet!
  2. I'm training my first retriever and the kennel that I purchased my dog from recommended "Training the Hunting Retriever, by Jerome Robinson. It's a collection of techniques by top trainers, and not just one persons idea of how to train dogs.
  3. My SBE2 has failed to cycle second shell on four occasions; all times were in hunting situations using Win high base 23/4 and 3" shells. Very frustrating! I shot two boxes of trap loads this summer and had no problem. Spent shells seem to hang up on extractor pin. Gun was purchased last fall, is clean and well oiled. Has anyone had this problem.
