  1. Is there any way to buy a synthetic or comfortech stock for my legacy 20 ga ? I assume the 20 g. cordoba / supersport stocks would fit, but are they sold anywhere as an accessory ? I am assuming that the 12 ga. stocks will NOT fit the 20 ga., right ? THANKS
  2. I just bought a monte barrel for my SS and it fits perfectly. Although to be honest, I haven't shot it yet !!!! If you look at the Benelli catalog the monte, legacy, SS, raff, centro, barrels are listed together. They all have the small forearm ring. I can sympathize with you on that 30 inch barrel, its waay to long for most hunting. I went and got a 24 inch barrel and use an extended choke on my SS.
  3. Tru glo sells a "rib mount" go to truglo.com. B-square also sells a rib mount (and a cantilever rib mount) There was also one by aimtech "rib rider" if you can still get them. If you go this route get the smallest, lightest red dot you can tolerate. a reflex sight would be even better. go on ebay.com and look at all the reflex sight options. some are only 4 ounces.
  4. I have a legacy 20 guage that doen't have a mag plug. I need one to be legal for bird season. I have a piece of heavy wire that I can cut. How long is the plug supposed to be? is it 2.75 plus 2.75 = 5.5 inches ? or is it 3 plus 3 inches = 6 or do I need a little extra length for the forearm threads/bolt that sticks out past the tip of the forearm ? Can i just cut a straight piece and slide it in to install - and shake it out if I want to take it out? or should I bend the top end a little to grab and pull it out ? THANKS
  5. The hi viz listing says that the pre-fit version is for synthetic stocks only - so if you have a wood stock your best options are a grind to fit hi viz or a pre fit limbsaver. I was in this same situation with my legacy and just opted for the limbsaver and I am very happy with that.
  6. Hey whitefeather - I just did a test with my legacy and my supersport and found that a 30 dollar limbsaver is superior to the comfortech recoil pad. Buy whatever stock you want and slap a limbsaver pre-fit pad on it. Some people are saying that the hi viz recoil pad is even better than the limbsaver. The hi-viz pre-fit pads are hard to find though so I can't give you much advice there.
  7. I have the supersport with 28 inch barrel. Like it for "distant" clays - the ones way out there. Will be good for waterfowling too, but Here's what I would say. With the 28 inch barrel, and the extended choke, the gun is 50 inches long. This gun is simply not going to fit everyone. the 30 inch barrel version is going to be a real broomstick. I am thinking about getting a shorter barrel for my gun for upland and other types of hunting, and clays as well. The gun is awesome in performance. Cycles great, and has all of the new benelli do-dads like corrosion free spring. Obviously will not shoot 3.5 inch shells so some people will not consider it a waterfowl gun or a turkey gun. I added a limbsaver recoil pad to mine because that cuts more recoil than the comfortech pad. for under 1,000 dollars it is a very very good deal - buy it if you like the feel of the gun. You might be in the same boat as me and look for an additional montefeltro 24 or 26 inch barrel for different situations.
  8. I was told that a montefeltro barrel will fit a supersport. Does anyone know if this is true?
  9. Are barrels interchangeable between the two Nova models? THANKS
  10. Are all of the Supernovas drilled and tapped for scopes/optics or just some of them ? Can't find the "specifications" pape on this new website. Anybody own one of these Supernovas ?
