did u quite it down any? I love my nova but hate the rattle as well... scared away two tukeys jujst picking up the gun. Would love to hear some solution !

Yesterday I shot my new nova at a gobbler using #4 shot in a 3 inch shell(i don't believe that the 31/2 inch shell gets you any additional distance just more recoil from the extra 1/4 oz) Anyway I have the standard recoil pad not the comfortech or gel. When I levelled off on that Gobbler I didn't even feel the recoil ! That turkey bit the dust at 48 yards using a 26 Inch bbl and Mod choke...Awesome ! I think you can kill em out to 55 0r 60 yds.

If you can find the Benelli mag tubes they're pricing them at almost the same price of a new Nova. What's that all about !

Not only are the choke tubes interchangeable but with little modification the mag tube extensions are interchangeable and will work on Franchi's and Beretta's as well FROM an M1 to a Nova. Took me 5 minutes with a dremmell...now my Nova holds 9 rounds and great for steel plate competition ! I was quoted $265 for a mag tube extension by Benelli and bought the exact same tube extention,spring and stop for twenty dollars !

Does anyone have an idea on the max range for turkey using #4 shot, 3Inch shell and 26Inch BBl on a Nova 12 guage ??
