What model stocks did you use?

I have recently purchased an M1 121. They were only made from 79-85. I was wondering if this gun is adaptable to the new M1 pistol grip stocks. I like the way the gun is now, but I would like to preserve the wood finish that is on the stocks now. Plz let me know if someone has done this or if they know it can be done. Thanks.
