    Choke Lube

    I think it is important just to make sure you use something...the more complicated you make cleaning, the less likely you are to do it. Most lube products now work well, IF you use them. I simply wipe my tubes down with any preferred cleaning solvent, powder solvent, wd40 etc. Just be sure and coat lightly with wd, break-free etc. If you don't frequently clean, and plan on leaving a particular tube in for a long period, such as a turkey tube for the length of the season, I prefer to use a light coating of grease over the tube. I've had my SBE since '89, with some periods of neglect and never had a problem following these steps.
