  1. Following the advice it was a peace of cake, the tube was a little dirtier than I would expect with the amount and type of use my SBE has had, Thanks again
  2. Can anyone explain the proper procedure to remove the standard front bead on a SBE VR barrel. Is it glued in or threaded with locktite? any help will greatly be appreciated
  3. It function perfectly with 3.5" steel and 3" lead but the problem occurs with certain 3" steel and certain 2.75 steel. It is a SBE and right now I donot recall the brand of ammo since this all started last duck season and I have an array of different shells
  4. I have a SBE, maybe 250 rounds fired that has had ejection problems I am thinking it has to be in the tube but I am unsure on the procedure to remove it my S/N is U238xxx Any ideas??
  5. I have a 5 year old benelli SBE which has worked perfectly until recently when it has has several failure to eject causing one shot hunting situation whicjh needed to be 2 or 3 shot (joking) In both situations it involved steel shot 3"mag shells. It would not jam with 3 1/2" shells. In these situations it seemed like the bolt would not close with the velocity that it needed to be. I took the gun apart cleaned degease and re lubed with telflon and graphite lube only to have jam again. The weather was conditions was cold 10 degrees or colder and dry Any ideas?

    Replacement Barrel

I have a SBE and I use both the SBE and SBEll barrel on the SBE frame. I donot recall having to modify the forearm but I have the composite stocks which may expand for small differences
  7. I have two different choke wrenches, one with the thread chaser which I have used on the barrel What I am saying when I torque the tubes in two of my barrels I get a solid "tight feeling" meaning its solidily tight The third barrel I get a feeling of tight resistance but no solidily tight feeling and the tube is inserted as far as it does on my other barrels. Each time I torque it further in the hope of having it fully seated I never get that felling
  8. I have 3 barrels for my sbe, when I tighten tubes on two of these barrels it is easily felt when they are seated by a firm bottoming out feeling On the third barrel I donot get that bottoming out feeling but a increasing resistance and I have been reluctant to keep tightening to get that "tight feeling" The tube appears to be fully inserted and it feels the same when I switch tubes between barrel? Has anyone had the same
  9. the stock will not fit since there is a difference in the lower end especially with the trigger guard, I am unsure of the forearm. I have a sbe and I picked up a SBEII crio barrel which works perfectly including the stock foream

    recoil reducer

I have a 3 1/2 " SBE and rem 870, I donot shoot 3.5 lead but neither gun recoil all that bad compared to 3" leads I also think the 870 is more comfortable than my SBE and I have a mercury reducer in the SBE more so to give it better balance
  11. I have a brand newSBE/M1/super90 12 gauge shotgun stock satin finish medium dark walnut nice color and character It is 1" or so shorter than a standard stock which would measure without recoil pad at 12.5", this one is roughly 11.5" There is no recoil pad Fauless with no marks of any kind could be unused as I bought a SBE with the wood set and synthetics pictures on request $75 shipped US [email protected]
  12. Exactly why are these forarms different?
  13. I have the following new stocks and foream Stock satin medium brown shorter than standard w/o recoil pad $65 plus shipped satin forearm $50 + shipping each. both are new and never used, pictures are available on reuest [email protected]
