Update= just fired two boxes of one oz. target reloads in a brand new gun and it worked slicker than snot! no hang ups or failures to cycle

Just assembled my new M3 and am unsure of cycle of operation- While in the pump mode, the fore end can be moved to the rear in conventional pump gun fashion but this locks the bolt to the rear and can only be returned to battery by pushing the bolt release. The manual intimates that the gun can operate in traditional pump gun fashion. Is this the way the gun was intended to work or do I have something wrong? thanx TG

I am concidering the purchase of a new M3 for personel defense and a fun skeet gun. My concern is whether the gun will function in semi-auto mode with light 1oz. target loads. Your experience please. thanx TG
