How can I tell the date of manufacture on my Benelli Legacy? Thanks!

I have a Benelli Legacy that I'm getting used to. I put about 700 rounds through it the first 3 days of Dove season- NO I didnt get 700 Dove! I would like to get the metrogun extension, but was wondering if the choke threads are the same on Benellis as on Berettas? Thanks
