I just bought a new 28" 12 ga Super Nova pump to use for duck hunting. I have a question about the sight plane. On this gun do you line up the front sight on top of the mid rib pin, or line up the sights flush with the rib? This feels like a teriffic shotgun, and I like the option of being able to adjust the drop to match my long arms.

Hello, I am new to this forum. I have finally decided to buy a new modern shotgun to shoot steel shot for ducks and geese. I want to retire my winchester model 12 12 ga for occasional use for upland birds. I really like the super nova benelli 12 ga. Question is, should I select 28 or 24 inch barrel? Is a longer barrel preferred for ducks and geese? Any advice or suggections would be appreciated. thnx
