  1. Have you fired any "00" buck through the choke? I'm curious as to how it handles it....... I currently also have an M-4 as my duty scatter-gun. I bought a high end "skeet" choke and leave it in mine all the time. It cured the problem of occasional flyers and gave me the best pattern when shooting slugs, and holds a nice tight pattern with the "00" buck that we use. I'm always interested in anything that may increase the inherant accuracy of any of my "work tools".

    What brand and dia. is the choke?

  2. To all of you putting your lives on the line protecting all of us in these troubled times;

    Thank You !

    You and your families are in our thoughts and prayers this Memorial Day.

  3. The instructors school I used my M-4 in was all daylight, bright and sunny except for one day. When we left the acadamy building for the range I turned it on, bumped up the brightness setting about 4 levels from the default power on setting, and it was outstanding. It still had a few more levels to go. I never turned it off, just let it time out. Used the same batteries for all week, they were in the sight since I purchased it. (I changed them after the school, they're fresh now) I have had no problems with the visibility of the rectile outdoors, indoors, in dark streets,etc.

  4. I have an EO-Tech 550/AA on my duty M-4. (Along with a bunch of other goodies) I've used it for several months now and even through an advanced tactical shotgun instructor's school. There is no comparison for the durability, reliability, quality of this unit. There's no Aimpoint or Trij. that can touch this sight for CQB deployment....... Hands Down...... Bar None

  5. I had two Wide Body Safes Custom Made by This Company.............

    They Weigh About 1200 lbs. each and are Rated For 2300 Degrees for 1 Hour..

    1/4" steel plate double wall construction inside and out with ceramic fire lining between layers. 3/8" steel plate door with 1/2" drill proof plating inside covering the lock mechanisms, Dual Lock System, Spring Loaded Glass Relockers, 14 Active Bolts per Door, Intombescent seals, Interior Loghting, .......on.....and.....on.

    After my research, I found these folks built the heaviest best safe for the money ........

    But That's Only My Opinion................

  6. Hi Guys;

    Has anyone seen a beefed up recoil pad that fits the M4 standatrd pistol grip stock?

    I tried all the "Limbsaver" models made for Benelli models but the one piece pistol grip stock on the M4 seems to have a slightly smaller butt than all the other similar stocks for other various Benelli models.

    Any help appreciated.......

  7. It's a long and somewhat convoluted story..........But......... Bottom Line, I wound up with an extra set of Brand New, Never Opened, Meprolight (Benelli) night sights for an M-4 or S-90 with ghost ring sights.

    Can't return them, :mad: so I'm putting them up for sale.

    I'm asking $80 US and I'll pay the postage to you.

    (M.O. or Bank Check Preferred, I'll have to hold off shipping for a Personal Check to Clear)

    First PM to get to me indicating they want them, got-em.

    I have a set on my new M-4 ...... ;) They make a great deal of difference in finding the front sight in subdued light.

  8. Once you crop the barrel below 18", it becomes a class 2 AOW by BATF regs. Available only to LEO agancies, officers, or those willing to succumb to the BATF process. I don't know of a gunsmith that would do a chop job like that...... A class 2 or 3 manufacturer can do it legitimately, and then register the firearm with the BATF as such.

    I have a 12" barrelled 870 Pol Mag that was manufactured as a class 2 AOW. It's the model produced exclusively for the Federal Marshall Service and, if you can get on the list, other LEOs. (it's generally referred to as the Federal Witness Protection Shotgun, Model WP-870) There's a bit more to it than just cutting the barrel. The choke on mine is non-standard, they custom machine chokes to each gun as they are manufactured so as to produce the best pattern possible.

    It's a reallllllly sweet package that has it's place, and executes it very, very, very well. ;)
