I just bought an M2 Synthetic/26" and totally love it. I took it duck hunting and it worked great except for a single failure to return to battery with a fully closed bolt after an overhead shot. Here in WA state conditions can get pretty bad, that day had rain with temps in the mid 40's and wind gusts up to 25 knots. After the failure I cycled it and noticed it had leaves of sea grass and mud caked up inside the chamber. I rinsed it off with some sea water and it continued to work without problems.
