[Difference inside a M1 and a SBE]

May have anwsered my own question. I was looking in Brownells cat. today and saw where they offer a reduced (light) load recoil spring and tube for both the M1 and the SBE. So there you go if anyone is ever interested. Gregor187

I have a few boxes of older (2 or 3 year old) Hevi shot. It is in a green box and hasTUNG-NICKEL-Shot on the box. It is 1 1/4

oz. three inch shells.

Can this be shot in a Briley turkey choke in a Benelli?

[Difference inside a M1 and a SBE]

I know about 3 inch verus 3.5 inch shells. What I am wondering is the difference on the inside. I looked at my owners manuals last night and the only parts number difference i could fine was the spring in the recoil tube has a different number for each gun. I am trying to find out if you could change maybe that spring and shoot lighter loads more reliably out of the SBE. I never shoot 3.5 inch shells in the gun but being and old A-5 shooter the semi hump of the SBE seems to fit me better than the other Benelli models.

I own or have owned about six benellis over the last ten years. Does anyone here have any experience on the internal workings of the guns to this extent?
