Spoke to Briley Tech and said they are the only ones who do it, but you would then have to use their thin wall chokes only.

Ahhh, you remembered... Well, by the time I got it repaired and then blued it would have been almost as much as a new barrel. I am considering the new barrel so I can go with a 24" over the 26" I have now. Is there any place than can cut a screw-in choke type barrel down and re-thread it for chokes again? (not sure if this is even possible) This would be an option if someone can do it, as then the damaged part would get cut off since it right on the end.

Will the new crio SBEII barrel fit onto the SBE? If so, will I need to also buy the new style Crio Chokes or will the new barrel come with them? Is there anything else I need to make the barrel fit my SBE? Thanks in advance!

I have to have some work done to my barrel, after my sling slipped off my shoulder. Barrel rotated off my shoulder and onto a rock while climbing a hill turkey hunting. Dent is minor but an eye sore. It is in the rib portion in front of the little factory fiber site pin. It does not affect the actual barrel itself. Please help me find a shop that can match factory finish with excellent quality, after the repair is made. Thanks!

How do I remove the factory pad? Will replacing the factory pad with the Sims pad cause recycling issues as does the mercury filled option? Anyone know the right Sims Recoil pad part number to fit SBE1? Thanks!
