Glad to hear that you like your new SBEII. I have the same gun only camo with a 26" barrel. As far as the operating handle goes, take an old shoe string and wrap it around the handle. A little tug and it will come right out. It also takes away the risk of scratching your new gun. Have fun.

What do you guys think in regards to Turkey Guns and Barrel length? I'm considering a 26" barrel on a SBEII but want to know your thoughts on this? I will occassionally be using this for other game as well (squirrel, rabbit, dove) but mainly for turkey hunting. Benelli makes a 24" Barrel and a 21" Barrel are these any better or just the latest interest? I always thought the longer the barrel the better the accuracy. I can understand the convenience of a shorter gun in tight situations and the fact that it weighs a little less for those who move around a lot, run and gun. I would like to know your thoughts on this. Which do you prefer? Thanks guys.

Hey guys I would like to purchase a sling for my Super Black Eagle II. My gun already has the studs in place for a sling so I would like to utlize them if possible. I really like the Claw Rifle Sling made by Quake Industries and it doesn't slip on your shoulder. I was at Cabelas this past weekend and was prepared to buy this sling until I had a guy behind the gun counter try one on a SBEII they had in stock. The probem was it didn't fit. The sling swivel wouldn't fit the stud on the magazine cap. I'm not sure if the stud was recessed to far back from the factory or if it was the design of the mag cap itself that wouldn't allow it to fit. The mag cap on the SBEII isn't flat but rather concaves slightly inward which keeps the stud from sticking out very far. Quake Industries also makes a Claw shotgun sling, however it is designed to slip over the gun stock and barrel. Since my gun has the studs for the sling, again I would rather utlize them. My question to those who own a SBEII or know about them: Have you tried the Claw Rifle sling on a SBEII and had success? Hello I am in the market to buy a new semi-automatic shotgun and I have narrowed my choices down to the Super Black Eagle II or the M2 Field. Which ever gun I end up with I will mainly be using it for deer and turkey hunting. I plan on buying a rifled slug barrel for deer hunting. I am new to turkey hunting and will be going out this fall for the first time. I have been hunting deer for the past 16 years. I will probably stick with shooting 2.75" slugs for deer hunting. In addition to deer and turkey hunting I will also (on occasion) use this gun for hunting dove, rabbit, squirrels, etc. I hear a lot of people say that they have a hard time cycling lighter loads in 3.5" chambered guns (in this case that would be the SBE II). Is this true for a lot of you who own this particular gun? I will probably use 3" loads for turkey hunting because I hear that they pattern better than the 3.5" loads. I don't do any waterfowl hunting and probably never will. The only reason that I am considering the SBE II is that I would have the option to shoot the 3.5"'s if I ever needed to. I don't want to buy the SBE II and it not shoot the lighter loads. What do you guys think of the M2 Field for the species I have listed? I have the choice of either gun. Which should I get?
