  1. Most of the aftermarket charging handles offer a bigger handle with more surface area to grab. Makes it easier to grip and hold when under stress. Some of it is cosmetic or brand loyalty when choosing, but they all offer what I stated in the first sentence.

I have a Dave’s Metal Works on mine. Works great

  2. I’m currently running one of the original Side Armor side saddles with the pic rail.

After the recent upgrades to my M4, I wanting to add a Red Dot (Aimpoint or Trijicon).  Looking at a CompM5s or RMR.

Been reading the recent posts about red dots and rails, it’s seems the general consensus is with the pic rail installed the red dot is possibly too high for a solid cheek weld.

so my question is, what are my options for a decent side saddle to be able to utilize removing the pic rail and going to possibly a Scalarworks low profile mount? Or,

keep the side Armour side saddle  and either one will work with the current setup.

  3. Ya John Doe, that’s what I figured. I recently did some upgrades and having an aftermarket bolt like the Agency or Taran Tactical would put the finishing touches on it. Would definitely want the black version though and not the gold.

xblax619. A bolt carrier group consists of the bolt. bolt body, link, and associated parts. Also known as the bolt group on the schematic.

So no, not an oversized bolt release button. Also, the reason you don’t find it on the TT site is because they won’t sell the bolt group separately from the complete upgrade package.
    Appreciate it though.
