I just purchased a brand new nova and went shooting with it for the first time last night. I loaded one in the chamber directly and then tried multiple times to load shells into the magazine but the carrier flap kept getting stuck in the down position every time i did it. How do I fix this?

Ok I just purchased my first shotgun, a Benelli Nova. I am planning on going hunting with it today. Are there any do's or don't when it comes to "breaking in" a new shotgun. Is there anything thing else I should know while i am out using it today? Thanks a lot

ok thanks guys. what one do you think i should go with? does the 100 dollar increase for the super nova actually get me anything ?

I was looking at a nova 26", 12g today at cabelas and they were trying to tell me that the nova will not shoot 3 1/2" shells? I was almost posotive that it shot 3 1/2" shells? Also what is the difference between the nova and the super nova? The recoil system? thanks
