Many thanks to wingbone for his advice to use Craftsman brand slip ring pliers. I bought the ones from Brownells and they are useless for this application. We do not have Sears here, but I remembered that KMart and Sears are merged now. Quick trip to KMart and back. Job finished in under one minute.And yes, that Specter 2" sling and on-the stock ammo carrier really look cool!

OK, I just didn't want to break my new gun! I found instructions for swapping ends of the safety on page 14 of the forum archives. I guess I'll just order the sights and deal with them. Worst case scenario: I walk into Novak's Shop with a sack full of parts and give them a signed blank check.Wouldn't be the first time!

I have a brand new M4 Super90 in Desert Camo that I would like to have "improved" by having the safety switched to left-handed use and the addition of front & rear night sights. I am not comfortable doing this myself. Could someone on the list please recommend a gunsmith that I could send my M4 to who does good work in a timely manner. Thanks!
