Crazy Coot

I’m potentially getting ready to be in the market for a new shotgun. The primary use will be for waterfowl and I always use 3” shells and have no need for 3.5”. I’ve shouldered both the SBE3 and the M2 and both fit me extremely well. Is there any need to spend the extra $ to get an SBE3 if I don’t plan on using 3.5” shells? I’ve also read that the SBE3 are patterning high for most people. Is this the same with the M2 also? Any input would be much appreciated.

I recently bought a SuperSport off of a friend of mine. My question is: Do any of you have trouble removing the barrel from the top of the receiver? It's a little hard to put those two pieces together, but very hard to take apart. I'm wondering if I need to use some type of lube before assembly.
