  1. Well folks after waiting awhile I decided to call Benelli technical assistance. In the hope it helps others with M3's the technician told me that the M3 is intended to be loaded in semi-auto mode only. Apparently when in pump mode the bolt / carrier is too far back to allow the shells to be loaded. Again, just in the hope it helps someone here in the future.
  2. Fine folks, I saw one other post on this matter but with no answer attached. My M3 is impossible to load when it is in Pump mode. In Semi-Auto mode it is easy to load shotshells into the magazine tube but in Pump mode either the carrier isn't clear or something is sticking and I cannot load shotshells into the magazine tube. My fix so far is to load with the Pump fixed forward as in SA mode but then after loading I switch to Pump mode and continue. Is it necessary perhaps to pull the Pump back whilst loading shotshells to get the carrier out of the way or am I doing something somewhat wrong. Thanks.
  3. I know that Mesa Tactical makes some super cool stuff including mounts without rails for almost all 1" diameter lights and also mounts with rails for all the accessories you can come up with. They also make a super slick rear sling shotshell carrier which adds a shotshell carrier to the rear sling spot. Edit: Sorry I somehow cannot post links to sites so please just visit Mesa Tactical. Hope that helps. (HTH)
  4. Fine folks, for my first post here (wonderful forum BTW) I'd like to both share some info and ask for some additional advice. I did search through some archives here and did not find these particular topics covered already so hopefully my info is helpful and my questions aren't already covered. First, I recently learned that LimbSaver will start (late 08 or early 09) producing recoil pads that will work with all Benelli Tactical (pistol & rifle grip) Stocks. Apparently they have already developed an insert plate or plug that fits into the interior of the stock and they are now developing a recoil pad to fit that insert and fit flush with the exterior of the stock. It will apparently incorporate all the top features of the pads that they currently offer for almost everything except the Tactical Stock models! Meanwhile I also learned for those that want "something for now", that the Medium Slip On recoil pad that LimbSaver currently makes will work for all Benelli Tactical Stock Models. Now, for the advice I need, is it possible to mount a ComforTech pad to a tactical stock? I'd love to fit the ComforTech pad but cannot tell from the site and other online vendors if this is possible. Again although I searched this might be covered somewhere else specific. If so can someone simply provide a link to that thread and if not can we try to figure out if this is possible without major modifications to the stock? Thanks.
