Hi guys,
I'm gonna refresh this thread:
I got the Benelli M4 S90 shotgun with collapsible stock and OEM full length 7 round magazine tube. I have figured out that I can feed only 6 rounds (2 -3/4 slugs) into the mag tube. Round no.7 sticks out approx. 3/4 of an inch. How can I fix this problem? Buying the aftermarket shorter spring or ...?

Did you guys take out the seal ring from the end of the old tube and replace it in your new tube?

LOL .... That's sucks but reading this was funny !!! OEM Parts is the way to GO.
Maybe i'm being too harsh by calling it a piece of junk...maybe not. It definitely had the look and feel of a foreign made part even though it does say "USA made". Maybe there's some loophole where they can get away with saying that if it's only assembled in the USA? I have no idea.My biggest problem with the stock was that every time I fired a high brass shell, it would come out of the locked position and get jammed up on the buffer tube - to the point where I would have to forcefully try and get it unstuck. I'm pretty sure this was due to a cheaply made retaining pin. Another issue was, whatever paint or coating they used was starting to flake off, exposing bare metal. I didn't even use the forend grip, not only because it looked like ass, but because the fitment was so poor. Oh, the screws they used to attach the cheek riser with looked like some old used screws they had in their parts bin and just painted over the damaged threads...one of them didn't even match!
So, yeah - it's a piece of junk, not worth $200! Now that I have my genuine Benelli c-stock, the quality difference is night and day...maybe not worth the $500 I paid for it, but it's what I wanted all along and I'm happy.

I'm not worried about 922r compliance, I'm worried about it being a gunfight-worthy stock.

Not a 922r compliant stock made with foreign parts is what it states on the packages.

Promag and ATI both have collapsible stock systems "in the works," but I doubt we'll see either product shipping before the holiday season rolls around.
That said, the Promag system looks promising, at sub-$200, it basically clones the Benelli collapsible stock, and includes a forend that has left, right, and underside Picatinny rails. I'm hopeful that I can get my hands on one.
ProMag Has so many bad reviews they disabled the review on there website for the m4 c stock

I can fit 7 using Federal and Winchester 2 3/4 shells and a couple of times the 7th round needed some extra pushing.

.You need to keep the heat gun on the threaded end of the barrel until you see smoke from the factory locktite. Then you know the locktite has loosened up enough to turn the tube and remove it. I am not using a torch on any receiver (HEAT THE MAGAZINE NOT THE RECEIVER) on any firearm.HEAT THE MAGAZINE NOT THE RECEIVER

Your just drying out the lock tite. Heat the of magazine with a small propane torch that's how mine was done .
