Tucker301, when I reassembled my trigger assembly, I made sure I pushed the bolt release in...thanks again for the help. PS there is no reason why a drinking problem couldn't coincide w/ quick responses...it just might hinder the accuracy :-)

well, i took my trigger assembly out of my gun, and i found what cleefurd stated. When put on "safe" before the hammer is cocked, the trigger hook will not move out of the way of the hammer hook allowing the hammer to be latched. When taken off safety, the trigger moves enough to allow the hammer hook to pass and then latching, holding the hammer down. So, is this a malfunction or "feature". I am tempted to call it a feature. The safety is not allowing the trigger to move. Opinions?????

Is this normal? I cannot pull the bolt all the way back with the safety on "safe" when first cocking the gun.
