  1. It's pretty easy. Especially on the non comfort tech stocks. I cut one down to about 12.5" LOP. I cut the stock and then ground an insert to fill the void and attach a new recoil pad. The insert is held in by machine screw at the top and the bottom of the stock.
  2. My SBEII isn't drilled and tapped. It's about ten years old if that means anything.
  3. Thanks for the answer truckcop.

    M2 question

I currently own a SBEII and an M4, and I'm considering adding an M2 to the mix. Are all M2 receivers drilled and tapped for a picatinny rail? I'd like to get the 21" field version, and add a 26" barrel for bird shooting. In the off season I'd like to run the shorter barrel and add some sort of sight to it. Another option would be to pick up a tactical version and run the 26" on it to bird hunt. How easily is the rear ghost ring sight removed? Any opinions on these options?
  5. I would reccomend giving ballistic specialties a call. They've helped me set up my shotguns, and they work very well.
