Looks like it just attaches to the stock top rail. Cool.

Hi Phil,
Ahhh....The Standard (non PG) stocks do come along on Gunbroker too. Just keep checking. There seems to be folks on the forum every once in a while with ones FS/FT too.

Yeah, I already posted a WTB ad!

Don't know...how much do these typically go for?
-
Still looking for a OEM standard stock for an M4!
-
What do you guys think of the Benelli OEM "standard stock" (non-pistol grip)?
-
Anyone try one of these yet? Does the 12.5" lop include the end of the recoil pad? I'm not leo and don't wear armor, and the 12.5: seems a bit short. I just need something around 13" or 13.5" because of my stocky build and short arms!
Would I be better off just shortening a factory standard stock?
-
Holy cow...how confusing! I'm planning on only the following:
1. Full length mag tube
2. Charging handle change (maybe GGG)
3. Short LOP butt stock (either modify a stock Benelli standard stock or buy a Mesa version)
4. Add a light mount and light somewhere, somehow
5. Extended Bolt/Carrier Release Button (maybe GGG)
Is that too many modifications?! I picked up an M1014 on spur of moment and don't want this to turn into a legal discussion. Am I okay with these 5 mods?
-
Yes, it can..
I did this with some marinetex, and a limbsaver.
What's LOP on it?

Mesa Urbino stock features a shorter LOP

NICE! I like that top part, but like the stock forend for the M4. Is that top rail with the light attached a separate piece?
-
Wood? Synthetic? I had the stock shortened on my 1996 black synthetic SBE by the gunsmith where I bought it.
Standard synthetic.
-
Or does the design prohibit shortening of the standard stock (or pistol grip stock for that matter!)?
-
Just tossing it out there if anyone has an standard stock for an M4/1014? I'd like to replace the pistol grip, but am not looking for a collapsible...just a standard stock.
Any leads?
-
That's a great, simple solution, but I'm afraid my short little arms may have trouble reaching that light! Maybe I need a rail forend to mount light closer.
-
A light is a must. Most break-ins happen at night. Zombies never come out in the day. If you're gonna shoot, you better know what you're shooting. Also, I'd consider a collapsible stock. It's a must IMO. I have a laser on mine and I like it a lot.
Does anyone have pix of an M4 with a light attached? Where do you attach it?
-
Where can I get a standard stock (not the collapsible) for a M1014? Can I just buy a standard stock for the M4 (which I assume will work)? I prefer it over the pistol grip stock because all my shotguns have standard. Any suggestions or recommendations?
-
The one I'm looking at is the original HK M1, not the M2 (shouldn't make a difference, but you never know!).
-
I think the only thing I'd "need" is a light. Any problems with an old M1 HK version with extended mag tube and a light attachment?
-
How does the M1 or M2 function with low recoil 00 buck loads like Federal Tactical or others?
-
Do these type of muzzle breaks even work or make any difference in felt recoil? Is it worth it for the added muzzle flash?

Nice! Just curious, what LOP did you make it without pad?
