well the range is always the place ya either come home happy as **** or bewildered. everything OK with m-2. started slugs a little right of "X" but level at 25yds on 25yd nra pistol target.. walked it in and all is good with m-2. man nor bear nor zombeez will know what hit them. m-2 will be dismantled in next couple of days and cleaned within inch of its life and lubed. happy happy happy warm fuzzy. no problemos with recoil with federal 3" slugs. standing up was actually more accurate than laying forearm over carpeted wood block and sitting. federal low recoil were ***** cats. now the rem 870 last sunday printed a 1000% better after dropping off at vang north of me in chino valley. he guarantees a 9" group of OO buck at 25yds and he delivered as promised. on the slug side of story.............not so good. last sunday we were at 7 oclock and about 2.5-3" below "X" at 25 yds. today we were the same but i did gain some elevation that made me kind of happy. as far as correcting to the right i am about out of "clicks" on windage. this pissed me off. 30 rds of low recoil and fed 3" slugs. came home threw snotguns in safe and went to work. pondered this one big time. called vang. he said bring it on up and we will bend magazine tube and barrel will follow. apparently remingtons QC is not always up to par. also stated they would "sight in" with federal/remington/breneke at 25yds and see which flavor the 870 likes most. vang guarantees a 3" group taking "X" out at 25yds. so there ya have it. m-2's first slug outing and what a blast. had a group gather around target commenting how BIG HOLES WERE! hahahahaha no damn wonder everyone respects a shotgun! and the best part...............my shoulder isnt black and blue! thank you benelli/thank you vang and spec-ops stock.

yes mine came with directions ie. arrow® and arrow(up). after frantically searching for a definitive answer..............I FOUND THE MANUAL for my M-2. but with neither my m-2 nor the LPA sights did i receive handy dandy zoomy sight adjustment tool etched with benelli's logo nor lpa's logo. that was mentioned on LPA website that each set of sights comes with. no big deal, have correct gunsmithy screwdriver so as NOT to BOOGER up screws. i am sneaking out this am as soon as i jump in shower and slam some coffee, and im gonna let them both RIP AT 25yds with federal slugs. m-2 was fairly accurate out of box with some rem slugs. rem 870 has now been adjusted as best as possible since last sunday mathematically with new click figures. so i am foaming at the mouth to punch some paper. today is strictly federal 3" magnum slug groupings and 2 3/4 low recoil slug groupings. i get a deal on bulk federal from my ffl friend whom im attempting to buy a class III weapon from once i can get my forms signed off. benching a shotgun is always a slap in the face! cant wait. will report back

so i was correct, in moving rear sight to the "RIGHT" to correct my 7 oclock(left) and low of "X", point of slug impact! thank you. that made my night. since im still at work until 10pm here, i can concentrate on other matters, instead of climbing the walls, thinking this thru.

am i correct if: i impact target w/slug left of center, move rear sight left "X" amount of clicks? i impact target w/slug right of center, move rear sight right "X" amount of clicks? cant go to range right now, work in the way. this is driving me nuts. i wrote down my corrective clicks i thought were right so i can go back and reverse. in other words i am impacting at 7 o clock low and left of "X" ring. i moved my clicks to the right to correct this. i think i screwed up. my mind has been dwelling on this because of the costs associated with breneke slugs. also when i can hit the range it will be short and sweet as once again work in the way. really trying to do this in 5 shots or less at 25 yds. thanks for a simple explanation.

**** im still figuring metric to standard. if correct at 25 meters(27.3403feets), elevation @.083mm=0.00327" and windage @.0357mm=0.00141" which yesterday i was at 7 oclock w/2 slugs touching at 25yds. i figured at 1/4 moa. 4 clicks right to center and 4 clicks up for elevation and figured at that i should be dead on "X"! well i was interrupted by range master who didnt like me patterning(denting) on armor plate. so all i got was 2 rds buck and 2 rds slug. its a knock down throw in the mud sand crap snow mud quad i dont give a damn 870 that will be abused. reason my benellis are cream puffs and will stay that way unless zombeeez attack at my advanced age of 51. which i really really doubt. but on the other hand i cant stand BEARS! and this vang comped 870 is a ***** cat now with slugs or buck. feels like shooting # 6's birdshot with spec ops folder and vang comp. yes you can shoot 3 magnum slugs and buck all day instead of wasting the **** outta your shoulder with a 870 and i have proved it.

since i own (2) benelli's, i decided to go all out on a remington 870 pump i own, and resurrect it from a forgotten corner in my safe. it has sat for years and rightfully so, since i purchased my m-1 and m-2. lets just say i decided on the wizard and guru of all things shotgun hans vang. no stone left unturned,cost no object. spec -ops folder, vang comped etc. lets call it the "golden child" lots of time and bucks spent getting rid of all the crap rem express parts and changing to rem police parts. since i really like LPA ghost rings, i decided to add some to rem 870. my question: what does moving "one click" on the LPA sights equal =??? ie. 1-click = 1/4" MOA??????? heres a pic of yesterday with federal 3" slugs from 25 yds. out of a 18 1/2" barrel if they will download. if they dont just picture (2) rds almost touching at 7 o'clock. also downloaded a pic of federal low recoil OO buck. just like hans guaranteed. i live about a hour from hans and personally watched him dis-member my shotgun and make new again. the guy is all things shotgun. great service. highly recommend. how many clicks on LPA sights to correct for dead on "X"???? yes i did a search. yes i looked up LPA. and yes i asked my other friends and no one seems to know. i figure this does apply to everyone who owns a benelli with LPA ghost rings.

i really dont know if you can switch barrels. check with benelliusa.com or hit search for your question. i own a dedicated quail/dove combat wombat HK/Benelli M-1 Super 90 with a 21" Vent Rib barrel, giles 3-point sling,oem pistol grip, hk oem mag extension(for grins meeting the ranger-its plugged)w/HK OEM turkey sight, that will only be changed if i find a 26" or 28" barrel for serious duck hunting. my Benelli M-2 Tactical 18 1/2" barrel w/pistol grip,nite sights,ghost rings,giles 3-point sling, daves metal works follower(red), GG&G bolt handle, daves metal works top receiver rail, nordic mag tube,nordic barrel clamp w/picatinny mini rail,streamlight TLR-1, is for BLOWING THE LIVING **** out of any bear/mtn lion/rattlesnake/ anything rabid or a human or humans that decides coming into my camp or home is a good idea when not cordially invited!

please get back to us when you do test it out. very interested in how it works for my M-2 for slugs and buckshot.

anyone use/try/test a trulock tactical choke yet with either buck shot or slugs with their M-2. any before and after pics or comments on patterns from 25yds? yeah it looks TAC-TI-COOL, but anyone have some honest feedback.

unobtanium, thanks. where would i find one of these chokes? my m-1 super 90 came with the oem 5 choke system, and my m-2 came with 3 choke system.

my question pertains to my M-1 SUPER 90 21" VR pistol grip and my M-2 TACTICAL 18 1/2" ghostring pistol grip snotguns. over the years i have purchased mass quanities of shot shells of various flavors. im a pack rat and i hunt and i live in a rural area where picking up shells is an easy hours drive. over the years the shells have been transfered from ammo boxes/original packaging/belts/bandoleers(yeah i use one for dove-its fast and furious some times) and the markings have worn off alot of them. ie. i cant keep up with what color designates what round because of all the mfg's. its obvious on some if its a slug. but the other blacks greens reds lend itself to some confusion. i have been told that i can shoot slugs/any buck/any bird/sabots 2 3/4 or 3" out of a "IC" choke. is this true? as i do not want to damage my weapons. is an "IC" choke a "DO-ALL" choke???? will i have any accuracy with using slugs/sabots and a "IC" choke? im really looking for one choke i can varmint hunt/kill rattlesnakes/bird/home defense. thanks
