If anyone is wondering, I figured out how to do this. There's a pin that runs from the inside of the cap, and goes through a little hole in the tube. You push the pin in with a punch, and unscrew. The pin may move, but it's actually the end of a fairly elaborate spring inside the cap, so just push away, and it'll still be there later. Just push, and unscrew. Obviously, watch how you unscrew the cap, as it will be wanting to fly of when the threads release.

I was hoping it would be like that, since my old Wingmaster pump works basically the same way you described. Of course, I could never be that lucky:). Thanks for trying, though. Hopefully someone owns a 1201, and can shed some light on this.

Does anyone know how to disassemble the magazine tube on a Beretta 1201fp? I need to change out the follower, and I can't figure it out. Thanks.
  4. yeah, I've seen the ones done with the M1 pistol grip stocks. They look really nice, but those stocks are really, really few and far in between, besides being the usual benelli expensive. I was thinking more along the lines of the comfortech regular stock that is seen on the newer M2 tactical's. Those should work as well, I would think?
  5. I am the soon to be owner of a beretta 1201fp shotgun, and am researching parts availability for it. Does anyone know if all of the benelli stocks (except for the ones for the M4 and the like) will fit? Basically, if it will work, I would think that the standard, non-pistolgrip, comfortech stock for the M1 Super 90 would be fantastic. I know the 1201 is basically the M1, but I don't know what parts are compatible. Any help would be appreciated.
