Thanks for the info. I did notice the recoil pad on the wood stock is the same design as the one currently used in some of Brownings products. I just wonder exactly how much difference there is in recoil reduction either real or felt?

Does anyone have any idea the difference in recoil reduction between the comfortech and wood stocks, lets say in a .30-06?
