No plate in my stock, should it have one from the factory?

I just bought a Steady Grip stock for my SBE to use as a turkey gun. I need to figure out how to mount a sling to this stock. Is there a mount or clip I need that goes in the hole on the stock? if so, can some one tell me where to find one? thanks wired1979
