I want to remove the Mag. tube. Is the correct method to apply some heat and twist the tube off ? Is there any other "tricks" I should know ? Reason for removal ? cerakote. K

Can someone tell me if all I need to do is heat up the tube where it joins the receiver and give a twist, to remove the tube? Or is it more involved than that. I want to cerakote the tube and barrel after duck season. K
