  1. Thanks! I have only shot it three times so far, so yeah you could call it new.

Tacstar extension has been great! I hasn't come loose at all (even with 3.5's), and feeds flawlessly...

  2. So I was just handling my relatively new SNT and started thinking "man, that would be cool to remove the extension, cut the barrel down 4 1/2 inches, and remount the front site." This would bring the barrel length to 14" (SBS?). Then I might need to address the stock and try my best to pick up a collapsible stock from my cousin in the Czech Rep.

This would be neat. Is it feasible?? What paperwork would I need to do? Tax stamp for 14"? Sorry, I am new to the legal aspect of modifications. Any advice or What are you thinking??!?!?" comments welcome...

    Is this a bad idea??

  3.

As for Canada you never fought for your independence, you waited until the Queen didn't want you anymore and to this day you put her ugly mug on your money. Your tradition is to roll over for an oppressive government, so it's no surprise that you can only have 5 round mags, have to call the govt. every time you want to use your handgun and pay for expensive training classes, etc.

    Too funny, but true...

Personally, I have my supernova with seven shells of Law Enforcement 00 in the corner of my bedroom, 9mm in the night stand with 15 rounds of Hydrashok, a trapdoor in the foyer with "custom made" fecal-smeared punji sticks, and some proximity mines stuck along the stairway (gotta remember to turn those off if the wife has a craving for a late night snack, or anytime I take the dog out. Boy that would be a mess).

Wife thinks I over do it, but you gotta stay safe around these parts.

(Disclaimer - Had wrist surgery today and vicodin is making me loopy. Turns out I wasn't ready for the 3.5"s)

  4. I honestly don't know how new this is... I looked on the website and it says that the SNT comes with a rail. Just call customer service, give them your S/N and they will ship you one...

Now that I have shot the gun, I am not sure I will utilize the rail or add a red dot... That money may go towards an additional m4... ;)

  5. Hey Terpx... I am UMD alumni also...

Yep! Gilberts... I live 10 minutes away in Rockville. It's pretty nice... it's close and you can shoot riles there too... albeit at 25 yard max..

I got the SNT for $439 at Atlantic (I usually buy from Engage Armament in Kensington, but Atlantic had the right gun for the right price this time).

As far as ammo, I had to buy what Gilberts had which was Remington controlled recoil and HV sluggers...

I bought the tactical which had the 18" barrel and no choke. I don't think you can add them either for this model.

  6. Well, I took my new SNT to the range yesterday. I went to the indoor club, where we must purchase ammo in house (county regulation, Mont. County, MD), and can only shoot slugs.

I put 25 - 2.75" slugs through her. I literally blew threee Shoot 'N C stickers off the page. With the GS sights, this gun is very accurate at 15 yards.

Then I loaded up five 3" sluggers. Of note, this is the first time I have fired 3" slugs. I am 6'3 and 325lbs, and I have a nice bruise on my shoulder today. However, all five went into the Shoot 'N C, and said Shoot 'N C is now fodder on the range floor. I would have to think long and hard on the logic and reason to shoot the 3.5's...

This gun has a smooth pump on it for sure! Much better then my Mossy (which I just sold to a buddy). The accuracy is much better than I have ever experienced with a shotgun, especially with a 18" barrel. Being the first Benelli I have ever fired, this maker has really impressed me. I cannot wait until the spring thaw to get to the outdoor range and put tons and tons of shells through her...

The wat I am thinking now, I may be in the market for Black M4 as a nice addition to the fam...

One more pic... Please excuse the ****** quality...
