I just purchased a new M4 11707 and I am very excited. I have new C-stock on the way as well...
Other additions would be the Surefire M80...

Just wanted to say thanks again..
Texas Skeeter sent me a pistol grip stock for my new M4 for free because i am an NYPD Det.
I recently brought the M4 to a "close quarter" training class and used it instead of my useless colt c/ar-15.. The instructors were so impressed with the response of the weapon along with the comfort of the spread pattern,(makes it real hard to miss your target) that they are considering aquiring a contract to issue the M4 as an entry weapon!!
Although the gov't just cut our homeland security budget 10 days after a bomb attempt; it shouldn't affect our firearms funds.. If it goes through, it's all because of TS's generousity!
Now to change the topic.. Does anyone have the new Smith and wesson M&P pistol? 9mm or .40cal?? I want to get one but haven't heard any reviews from actually gun lovers. I don't feel like being their guinea pig.. (I'm an italian cop, no Guinea pig jokes, haha )..
My Son has one in .45 and he loves it. I prefer my Kimber 1911.

It is an acorn nut they are tapered. Take it off throw it away and go to Lowes, Mernards or any place that sells every nut known to man. Take your site post with you and find a nut that fits without having to pay through the nose for it. Reinstall with green loctite.

I asked this before but have yet to get an answer, has anyone been able to get an actual specific size wrench for the front sight nut on an M4 shotgun? I can't get a hold of anyone at Benelli that seems to know this...
Looking for an exact size wrench, I am sure one exists, how would they put them on at the factory...
A 5.5mm (7/32") open ended midget wrench is what you will need.

True, and I have not held theirs so I'll refrain at all costs from saying ours is better, especially given the consideration that their test criteria and ours may differ.... but it's the best dang spring we could come up with, and we did not stop the revision/testing until we felt it (spring) met or exceeded all the reasonable performance expectations desired of it.
I whole heartedly concur with your entire final paragraph. I also covet the willingness of customers (some of whom I consider friends) to go out on that limb, and convey if nothing else, that by surpassing their expectations, they can scarcely detect any room for improvement. The only thing I can attribute this to transends form and function, it is our insistence that each and every item be more than hardware, it must represent an obvious and diligent attempt towards perfection. There are many who would balk at a spec of dust in the finish, and we have no desire to sell him a spec of dust unless he requests it. No one has yet, so we make wind-chimes with the "dusty-ones".

What does a mag tube do? Not much actually, it just holds shells. CC and FFT both have ti tubes, one is higher priced is it better. I doubt it. I bought CC because of their ObsessiveCompulsiveDisorder over perfection.

ha. Roger that. I was going to try and cut an insert that would fit both my M1A with attachments, as well as my M4 shot gun. Sounds like I have my work "cut out" for me. No pun intended!

Thanks Tactical. I just bought the Pelican 1720 from optics planet (with foam.) It was only around 200 bucks with free shipping. Looks like a solid peice of gear. Do you have any experience cutting the foam yourself? I am assuming it comes with directions, or if I fudge it, I can get more foam later or something. I appreciate your quick reply.
They can cut the foam for you, they have all the cad drawing for all firearms. I never cut my own, I'd probably mess it up.

What military units use the Benelli M4? Are there any other rail options for a tactical light other than that 300.00 one? Do the military guys like them? Who sells screw in chokes for these?

Who makes extra shell carriers that attach to the butt stoock or reciever?
