  1. Haha classic !!

Wonder if it has a kick-back disconnector to disable firing mode when the rear grip control is compromised. Hmmmm.

lol.....They are coming out with all kinds of gimmicks.:D Check out what they call the roadblocker, has a muzzle brake that belongs on a .50.

  2. I'm sorry but I don't see what one ounce of the hype was about with this piece. The quality seems to be about on par with a generic MP5 solid buttstock which isn't a compliment. When it comes to looks all I have to ask is what drug the people who think it looks good are taking.

"Lets rush it to market, those M4 people will buy anything!"

    :p

  3. Great feedback. Just bought one.

Curious - Is the Ti tube w/ the added 2 rounds is still lighter than the OEM with 5? In other words which gun is lighter; a factory M4 loaded w/ 5 or an M4 w/ Ti extended tube w/ 7?

When the zombies attack, you will not notice the weight.:D

  4. You'll like the MRP. You can get a Spikes Tactical conversion kit and shoot 22lr with a proper twist barrel. Pop the two bolts, and swap the barrels. Drop in the dedicated bolt carrier. Done.

Blast away for 3 cents a round. Keep all your accessories and optics on the same weapon. Ballistics in 22lr match 223 within 75 yards. 26 round magazines are typical. 20 bucks each.

Blow through a 1000 rounds and cost you a princely sum of about 45 bucks.

Here is mine. I've done some other work since this photo though. I'm looking at a 45 degree selector on my desk right now from Battle Arms. I have to void my warranty later tonight.

I'm in the process of going SBR too. Going the NFA Trust route.

I had my barrels reprofiled as light as possible. If I were you, I'd watch gunbroker. You can get an upper for about 1200 - 1300. Just make sure you're looking at the piston models rather than the gas op ones. Then build the rifle up how you want it. Get a Spikes Biohazard or Tactical Innovations billet lower.

Not sure I would want that rifle if you have to have a socket wrench handy.

  5. I just rebuilt a table last month. It isn't for reloading, but for gunsmithing. I suppose I used the same basic design as I would have for a reloading table (sans shelves and cabinet) though.

4x4's for the legs, notched to be framed at top and bottom by 2x4's ... So 1/4 of the 4x4's reach the ground and table top, but otherwise rest on or support the 2x4's. 3/4" plywood for the table top. (It isn't for reloading; so it doesn't have to be particularly smooth. Just tough enough for vises.)

Screwed to the studs of the wall, the table is super sturdy. Zero wobble.

If I was going to do anything to it, I'd reinforce the base and put plywood there and add a plywood backing (so nothing falls off behind the table). Then maybe some shelves.

Right now I've got plenty of space in my safe for ammo. But if it gets tight in there, I would add a shelf, board up the sides, and put some doors on there with a lock.

The basic table design actually came from a do-it-yourself reloading table I got as a result of a Google search I did.

Thanks LA, mine will be bolted to the wall. You can't have too many shelves either.
