I have a SBE 2 and was curious if I could find the manufactured date with the serial number? Its U2845**

I have a SBE 2, the factory chokes(especially mod) are peeling. The Finish that is on the chokes is coming off. The modified has had the most use. Anybody else had this issue? I did a search and found a couple. Any chance of Benelli CS swapping them out? I emailed them a week ago...
